TFTP-PFMO: Magnetic Particle Inspector Level 3

Team member's role and responsibilities:

Outside agency requirements:

An independent or national body providing training and examination of NDT personnel, or other services to meet the latest AIA NAS 410 standard. The Level 3 designated by Trinity Forge & Machine has the responsibility and authority to ensure that the requirements of the latest AIA NAS 410 are met and to certify qualified personnel.

Sub-contractor requirements:

Must pass all examinations and work experience that meets the latest AIA NAS 410.

Employed in a Level 3 function for a minimum of 36 months.
Sub-contractor shall show objective evidence that they have kept up to date with AIA NAS 410 certifications and current NDT technology in the method(s).

Rookie requirements:

See above.

Physical activity involved:

Extensive periods of standing and moderate walking.
A lot of stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting of forgings up to 50 pounds; any lifting over 50 pounds use crane or hoist or ask for help.
Some bending from the waist down.
Conditions include: cold and hot weather, dust and noise.
